We are all just trying to get through the day. And to do that we need things. Things like access to basic resources, constitutional rights, and the most fundamental standard of respect and dignity.

And today, that’s what all y’all are demanding. For yourself. For your family. For your neighbors. For people you will never meet because in spite of the wills of oligarchs with empty lives, you know that we all deserve better than what they want us to accept.

And when you’ve asserted your humanity before the world, what we can offer is a meal to keep your strength up. There’s a long fight ahead, but not an endless one. And it is worthwhile, like each and every one of us

(Oh, and comment if you can thing of a good follow up for my last drawing. A magic quokka and stylish pancake pushing a cybertruck off a cliff is a hard act for me to beat)

Any time we get to make a special you know it'll be great, but this takes the cake 🤤 The tempeh saute w fried Parmesan polenta is perfect comfort food for a sprinkling chilly seattle weekend! Including tempeh, onions, tomatoes, green peppers, cilantro, cheddar, and green sauce. What's not to love?! Also featured this weekend is Hedi's famous vegan quiche, come and get some before it's GONE!
