Some mornings we all just need a hot cup of coffee and a stack of pancakes. ☕️🥞 Family owned Blue Star Cafe & Pub has been serving all the classics for almost three decades.
Did you know many of the first American diners began in converted rail dining cars? If you ride an Amtrak sleeper train today, you’ll still find a dining car with quintessential booth and counter seating. The 1920’s solidified much of what we think of as interior “diner style”, and as more diners were established along highway routes in the 1950’s, neon signs became popular to flag the notice of motorists. The peak of diner popularity came in 1960’s and coincided with the Space Race, which is why so many diners are space themed or vaguely space ship shaped.
