Thanks for the shout-out, ! We may not have signage yet, but our brand-new University District location is up and running Tuesday - Sunday, 8 am - 2 pm, with expanded hours coming soon! Need more WBC? You can always visit our Capitol Hill spot Monday - Friday, 7 am-2 pm, and weekends, 8 am-2 pm.

Repost : Having a quick bite at the new which *officially* opens tomorrow. Two weeks ago I signed some paperwork and today we're working out the kinks to the menu and baking in a new kitchen - WTAF ® & How to make a heat wave a little wilder? Throw a new bagel spot in there! Grateful for my team and my partner for holding it down because nothing happens alone.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled bagel content for an important (and tasty) announcement! Westman’s founder is the featured chef for this week’s box and today is your last day to order! From Monica:

Back from my social media break for a sec because today is the last day to place your order with for their food box and there’s a few recipes from yours truly included! Locally made tortillas, fresh produce and lots of tacos - summer if finally here. ✨

In May, my sister, Fox and I travelled to Michoacán and had some of the best carnitas ever and it inspired me to re-tool my recipe and also make it home sized friendly. I could spend the rest of my life exploring regional Mexican cuisine and creating recipes that reflect authentic Mexican cuisine along with modern takes but for now, a few to start.

Carnitas in Morelia, Quiroga, and back home, I’m never tired of eating food w my kiddo & fam. The best meals are shared meals. 💘
