They call it Keg Walking, and breweries from across the city use hand trucks to deliver kegs to Latona Pub. Serving only beers delivered using any people-powered means. No internal combustion engines are involved!

Spring menu update!! What are you most excited to try? 🤩

Charred Gem Caesar - house spicy Caesar dressing, grated parmesan, house dukkah spice*, crispy shallots, charred lemon, confit garlic bread crumbs *contains nuts - Add steak / shrimp / chicken / avocado

Argentinian Steak Sandwich - Thin-sliced terres major,
red chimichurri, confit garlic aioli, arugula, toasted Macrina Bui bun

PNW Shrimp Roll - spicy remoulade, celery, cornichons, capers, dill, chives, Old Bay, lemon zest, toasted Macrina Bui bun

Shrimp Carbonara - Fresh fettuccine, thick cut smoked bacon lardon, lemon caper sauce, parmesan, chili flake

Terres Major Steak - Asparagus truffle purée, spring medley, confit fondant potatoes, red wine foraged mushroom demi-glace

Beserat Tafesse is back at Latona this weekend! 🎶

Born to Ethiopian immigrants in the Pacific Northwest, Beserat grew up with a wide array of musical and cultural influences. Traditional Ethio-jazz, the great Stevie Wonder, and his parents' favorites were all mixed up and strewn together; each uniquely informing and penetrating his mind with a diverse soundscape from an early age.

After attending Central Washington University, Beserat moved to New York to study Jazz trombone at the Manhattan School of Music while shedding nightly with New York's living Jazz legends.

Before moving back to Seattle, Beserat toured the globe and performed with acts such as the Mambo Jazz Orchestra, the Birdland Big Band, the Slavic Soul Party, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, and King's Kaleidoscope. He also contributed to Doug Beaver's Grammy nominated album, Art of the Arrangement.

While he currently spends most of his time in Seattle, Beserat is still much a part of the national music scene while also teaching at Cornish College for the Arts! 🙌

We’ve got back in the house this Saturday 3/29! 🎺🎶

Audrey is a Washington raised trombonist and singer. A wonderfully versatile musician, she performs a variety of styles which include jazz, r&b, salsa, banda, ska, and classical music. Audrey studied bass trombone at Central Washington University, and held positions in CWU Jazz 1 as both bass and lead trombonist. Audrey is extremely proficient in big band jazz, and her sound easily fills up the room and draws you in. Her vocal influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Louis Prima, Sarah Vaughan, Nai Palm, and Samara Joy. As far as trombone players, she loves a bit of Urbie Green, Lou Sina, and Melba Liston.

Audrey is busy performing and recording in the Seattle area, playing with groups such as Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, the Alex Dugdale Big Band, Nueva Era, The Pazific, Banda Vagos, the Freddy Fuego Big Band, and a heavy groove horn band called Simple Minded Symphony.

A perfect way to close out the week? The cubano!! Made with authentic from-scratch Cuban bread, IYKYK! Real ham and Caribbean pork gets sandwiched between this beautiful bread with cheese, pineapple mustard, pickles, caramelized onions and pickled peppers for a very special plate found right here at the pub during lunch 12:00pm to 4:00pm! 🙌🍻

Jon Robinson is back at Latona Pub this weekend with .jaegrr & Michael Campbell 🎶🎸🎺

Jon was born in Houston and raised in the great PNW. As a pastor’s kid, he grew up learning to play bass through gospel music and followed the natural musical pathway into the funk/soul/RNB world. He stumbled into jazz and the upright bass in his first year of college and quickly fell in love with these sounds and rhythms he had never heard before. After earning his Bachelors of Arts in Music from Central Washington University, he played in a collection of bands as a sideman for years until COVID came and shut everything down. The years since then have been very retrospective, thinking of the core reasons why we play and listen to music, which has resulted in this band. This quartet honors the people and music that came before that have given us so much, but is presented in a unique format that blends all of Jon’s past inspirations into something you haven’t quite heard before. We hope you’ll join us for a night of aural adventure! 🍻🎸🎶
