Spring has found it’s way into the bakery and into this beautiful cream cake by Elle. Sponge cake layered with sweet and salty pistachio cream and a bright and ever so slightly tart rhubarb jam. Finished with vanilla bean mascarpone cream, white chocolate and toasted pistachio! Seriously…a little happiness and love go a long way these days.

This is Elle. Cookies have been a passion for many a year now! Have you tried Elle’s Italian lemon ricotta cookie? Made with fragrant lemon zest and house made ricotta, these beauties are perfect in every way. And introducing the Chocolate chip, rye and cardamom cookie! Bittersweet chocolate compliments notes of rye and a soft cardamom spice. It has just the right chew and flakes of sea salt finish it quite nicely.

Winter time at the bakery! We will be filling the shelves with all the good things this weekend! Axel has crafted the most delightful Latke Pithivier with potato, onion, sour cream and apple! We will have all the cookies, torrone, Tony’s freakishly addictive caramels and biscotti available (until they run out!), crew necks, hoodies and tote bags(perfect gifts designed by Katie and printed by M )and extra pain au levain, braided challah and Elle’s perfect to clean the plate with soft milk rolls for Sunday! Get your fix this weekend! We will be closing for winter break starting on Monday 12/23 and will be back on Friday 1/3!

Rosellini tote bags are here! Designed by the wonderfully talented and fully entertaining and printed by our favorite print shop (thank you M for being so kind and cramming us into your busy schedule! ❤️). These totes are generous in size and sturdy enough to hold a lot of pastries, cookies and confections from the bakery! Cookies are here! Elle (queen of the cookies) has made some real beauties this year! Italian Lemon ricotta(house ricotta), chocolate krinkles, spiced cappuccino blossoms, and chewy oatmeal peanut butter and almond cookies! We have our traditional almond anise biscotti, ginger bunnies and people, candy cane macarons, pinwheels and chewy ginger molasses cookies! Ginger Tiles coming soon! Also keep an eye out for our lovingly boxed holiday cookie assortment! Phew!

We will be open tomorrow 11/27 from 7am-4pm! Shelves shall be stocked! Remember that we will be closed 11/28-11/29 to be with loved ones, eat and recuperate! We will be back to “almost” normal on Saturday and Sunday, 8am-4pm. We will have everything but bread!

Thanksgiving menu is up! We will be open Wednesday 11/27 with all of our daily offerings and a few extra special ones! Please place your order by 1pm on Friday 11/22! We will have a limited supply on breads and rolls, so the earlier you order the better!
Note that we will be closed on Thursday 11/28 and Friday 11/29. Back at it on Saturday 11/30!
