We are finally back open!! After 2 weeks of incredible community involvement, we are back to coffee and sandwiches. A huge thank you to all who worked tirelessly to make this happen. I am so grateful that this space means as much to you as it does to me. (*Bobby Dog for scale.)

What started as something small, has become something big (not by choice). Being closed all this time has been so emotional and I can’t wait for it all to be over! Hopefully reopening soon 🤞

Our official remodel is now almost complete and we are beside ourselves with the idea that we will be open and able to connect with our community!! We have missed you all so much.

Update: Our replacement wall is being custom built to fit our espresso machine and it will be very cool when it is finished. It is taking so much longer than expected but I’m trying to stay optimistic. We hope to open Friday now.

Hey all! Our new insides are almost ready to be put in. But apparently dreams take longer than 2 days to come true. We will be CLOSED again tomorrow, but hopefully up and running on Monday. Thank you all for the amazing support! See you soon. ❤️

To my friends, family and community:
WOW. I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love in the middle of a really stressful time. The nature of the restaurant industry is not to last, and the city has been experiencing a lot of vandalism. It’s been hard to watch businesses close one after another. I wondered if that would be my fate. I cannot thank you all enough for the donations and kind words of support shared. I am so grateful for this community. I truly love what I do and I get to continue doing so because of you. There will be more weddings and babies to celebrate, more more dogs to walk and rescue when they run away, more hugs to give when long gone customers return to say hello. If someone told 12-year-old me that someday I would get to create a little hub of community that meant so much to so many, I would say that sounds like a dream. Thank you for believing in it. ❤️

We love our Megan!

It’s the 6th Anniversary of my art business. Dang, dudes. Makes me want to cry thinking of all the ways you’ve had my back over the last six years. I’ve made a ton of mistakes and sponged up loads of advice from people who know more than me. I’ve painted in basements, sheds, and outside in extreme temperatures. I’ve damaged things. I’ve fixed things. But regardless of whether I’m messing up or crushing, I’ve felt like I’ve been at the center of a stupidly-big group hug for years because of you.

My artwork is FOR you. While I do occasionally make work that is personal, generally the idea of making work that is “just for me” feels empty. Creating and sharing artwork connects us. And I’d like to spend another 6 years cultivating deeper connections with nature and with all of you through art. Onward!

For my birthday, Kayli and Tobin surprised me with a second microwave so that we can make more breakfast bagels in less time. It’s so much better than I even hoped 😂 Thanks guys.
