Weβre proud of the work weβve done to become one of the best employers in our business! This includes fair and equitable compensation that doesnβt rely on our customersβ varying desires and abilities to tip our employees.
Our ice cream is priced to pay for the incredible local ingredients we utilize (organic berries from Viva Farms, chocolate from Theo Chocolate , milk and cream from our local dairy Edaleen Dairy, etc) but also, and very importantly, for our mooncrew to be well compensated for their incredible work.
Our starting wage is $21/hr. We offer zero premium healthcare insurance for our workers and their dependents if they work 20hrs or more each week. And as of this year, weβre offering childcare subsidies of up to $1k/month per child because we understand that in order to take good care of our team, it includes ensuring that their children are well taken care of too.

We're savoring every last bite of summer with this September flavor drop! π peaches & cream: Made with the juiciest sweet Washington peaches that we cook into a thick jam studded with supple chunks of peach. We swirl this jam into our sweet cream ice cream, and voila!- you have a scoop of late summer flavor perfectly encapsulated in each bite. π blackberry sorbet: PNW blackberries are perfect for the picking right now, and we let them shine in all their glory with this simply delicious blackberry sorbet. We puree organic Washington blackberries with a little organic sugar and a splash of lime juice to create this stunning ultra smooth and refreshing sorbet! PS - this flavor is vegan and gluten-free! π« s'mores: The most delectable and ubiquitous treat on a camping trip is now available in ice cream form! Made with deep dark caramel base with some added smoked sea salt and toasted marshmallows. We fold in great big dollops of milk chocolate ganache (made with @theochocolate 45% milk chocolate), and heaps of freshly baked buttery graham cracker crust. All coming together to make every bite full of the toasty, smoky, chocolatey flavors of a perfectly constructed sβmore!

Harvard's beekeeping career all started when a neighbor mentioned they needed to get rid of a swarm of wild bees in their tree. He climbed up into the tree and put the bees in a box, starting his first hive. He fell in love with beekeeping and has continued for 47 years since he pulled those wild bees from his neighborβs tree in Tacoma, WA.
