The Karaoke world has lost one of its largest cheerleaders last night. Garvaundo Hamilton of Karaoke Idols was hosting the Championships in Fife at the EQC, the event was full of fun and excitement, there were so many great people Singing their hearts out to have a chance at winning. The Night was down to the last 3 finalists, when Garvaundo Hamilton went on stage to sing. He gave a great performance (which Kathy had recorded), he finished his song, then proceeded to walk off stage, then collapsed onto the ground, with what looked like a heart attack. after numerous first responders worked on him tirelessly to keep him alive, Unfortunately Garvaundo Hamilton did not make it. Our hearts go out to The Hamilton Family, the entire Karaoke community, (of which he loved so much), and all of the participants who were in the building last night when this tragedy happened. We will miss his vibrant smile, his outgoing personality and most importantly, his ability to knock it out of the park on the stage. Rest In Peace Mr Garvaundo Hamilton, you will be missed !
